I recently purchased a king sized Urban Murphy bed with a side hutch for my studio apartment and it has absolutely changed the space for the better! I have so much more room and am able to have friends over without my bed being in the middle of the room. The product is beautiful and well crafted and am so happy with it!
We had the bed installed in an office space so that we can have guests stay. It looks like a nice cabinet when closed, and opens so easily. I was surprised at how easy and light the bed is when lowering it. We got the queen size bed and included the mattress. It is very comfortable. We also splurged and paid for the installer to come. It was so worth it. He was quick, very neat and friendly. We are very pleased with all aspects of our new bed.
We ordered the Studio Collection queen with 2 side hutches for our office/guest room and loved it so much we then decided to replace an oversized pull out couch in the full time guest room with the same style. It saves us so much room vs the pull-out couch and we have extra storage space with the hutches for pillows/bedding and guest clothes! Our guests have said the space is comfortable and inviting.

We searched for months to find the right Murphy bed for our guest room. Bredabeds had great designs and finishes to choose from. We ordered the studio queen with drawers and shelves. That was accomplished by converting my small den into a work/sleep space with the BredaBed. It looks beautiful, the mechanism is so functional & easy to use and the left side hutch and drawers are so useful. The LED lighting provides great illumination and the remote for the lighting is so convenient!

We purchased 3 units total and put them together on a single wall - two beds with hutch on one side and a single hutch in the center. Went together great. No issues with any of the CNC machine, edge banding or fit. It was a good value to us and we’re very happy.

We love our BredaBed Bed. We have room to use our office now without a bed taking up the space on the floor, but when guests come we have a comfortable, well lit bed for them!
This bed is the solution! It looks great, is super sturdy and very quiet when pulling down. When many other vendors were out of stock or raising prices, this bed did the trick. It came on time and the installation service was great! Well worth the extra cost. All in all, I’m very very happy and have received many compliments from people on my video calls. I should also note that the customer service was great and provided me some very quick responses on some questions I had.

When it arrived and we had a couple of employees put it together, we were really amazed how sturdy and well made the bed is. It's beautiful and although it took a while to put together as we were being extremely careful it was NOT hard to do, but it is heavy so you need 2 strong men at least once or twice during construction! Much to my surprise the sofa was soooo comfortable! and the color amazing!
This kit took a while to put together, but the kit was really thorough and pretty easy to follow along. It definitely requires at least two people. We are really happy with this product. It's exactly what we wanted at a great price point.
Bed is excellent quality! If you are not a handy person, highly recommend hiring a handyman to put together. This is incredibly heavy and high quality. Love, love, love these murphy bunks! BredaBeds helped us with all our questions along the way, and we got the bunks installed with the help of a contractor friend. It took about 7 hours with 2 people (additional person to help lift the top bunk in place), but it was all worth it! All the parts were labeled to help with assembly, and the bed is solid quality. The whole system looks fantastic!
The bed is everything we needed and more. My husband assembled it in two evenings with little help from me. The instructions were helpful, however, he did require the usage of some videos a few times. Highly recommend this company, the purchasing, the delivery and the assembly went as smooth as possible.
This bed is absolutely perfect for our space and needs! It took 2 very skilled people a good 4 hours each to put it together given the hundreds of pieces of hardware it came with, but it functions as it should and looks great!
I was very impressed by the quality of the parts and the heavy duty steel. The instructions were very explicit and to have a video to watch each step insured I was doing everything right. It went together perfect with no adjustment needed. I am a handy woman of 61 years that did all the steps except the few where the instructions said to use 2 people to lift. I chose the horizontal queen so I could use the top as a shelf and secure the header across 5 studs. I can't say enough about the quality of the parts and how great it works and looks.

Really happy with my new bed! Even before placing my order, customer service was very responsive when I requested samples. Bed shipped and arrived on time according to estimation at time of order. Packaged very well. Very pleased with the quality and in general with how it looks. Great space saver so I now have a sitting room when not a guest bedroom.

Very happy with purchase
I purchased the penthouse bed for my basement and am very happy with the quality, function, price and customer service. Customer service was especially responsive and helpful if I needed anything. However, the assembly time and effort shouldn’t be discounted. It took me 2 weeks (partly trying to fit assembling into a busy schedule) and periods where I needed another person to help, but it’s well worth it. If assembly isn’t your thing, I’d highly recommend hiring help for this bed.

I absolutely love this breed of bed, especially with the mattress they recommend. It’s almost the most comfortable bed in the house and the LED lights. Add nice ambience. I must say that the king size bed was a challenge to put together given its size most challenging was getting the frame onto the mount, and Justin has a trick that saved our backs, especially after almost dropping it on my son’s toe so call him if you follow the directions it’s not difficult to put together, although the directions and the online videos don’t quite match and that can be frustrating. All in all I am most satisfied and would highly recommend the bed and high-quality customer service experience.
Though my house ended up not being able to support a Murphy bed, every person I dealt with at Bredabeds including their independent contractor installer was superb. They were very communicative, understanding, and wonderful to deal with. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a Murphy bed, they are very knowledgable, use great installers and are super pleasant to work with.
I’m giving this four stars with an asterisk. Finished product is amazing and high quality. Delivery was fantastic and exactly when expected. Customer service responded right away. However, as an expert IKEA builder and with a relatively handy husband, the installation was an absolute pain. The instructions were not complete and over simplified. The youtube video helped but did not explain each step visually. And getting the queen size bed frame connected to the mechanism was not a two person job. It took four grown men and an average sized woman to get it connected. Made that $500 installation free sound like a dream.
Extremely happy with the finished product. Just know that this isn’t an 8 hour install and you will absolutely need extra hands to connect the bed frame.
It’s going on 2+ years since I bought the Enharbour Murphy-desk bed. I have no regrets and I’m surprise it’s still in Beta because my family are interested in purchasing one for their home as well as me for my small vacation home. The desk-bed is located in a small room and fits the room’s purpose as being a multi-purpose room: work, work-out, and guest room. Building it took some time. However their videos helped tremendously. It just needs a few more tweaks, addition direction, suggested tricks in the instructions when assembling the desk. Definitely will need a 3rd person when installing the bed platform. I would highly recommend buying this if this is the kind of set-up you need. Best part, you don’t have to put away the things you have on your desk when you want to use the bed.
We decided to replace our two pullout twin beds with the Metropolitan Breda Bed. It was a time managed redo with short windows, and we are so glad that we met our goals because of the great work of Tess and Juston. They kept us notified of any changes and were very helpful in being the mediary between us and the shipping company. They also assisted us to contact a bed assembly company, Brown's Furniture Assembly in Austin and they were amazing in their timing and expertise in putting our bed together. Bed took many weeks and months to get. Freight was a mess. Bed design is good but not great for price. Installation instructions were good and customer service was exceptionally good. The issues we had were not customer service but freight companies. Overall I cannot rate more than just average.
This queen Metropolitan Murphy bed definitely needs two people to install due to it's weight. The YouTube videos are helpful when there is vagueness in the instructions, especially when it comes to attaching the completed bed to the cabinet.
My only complaint is that the instructions say to put screws in every hole of the 3 cross bar supports that connect the large left side panel to the large right side panel on the backside. If you do so you will damage the front of the bed facing toward the room because at least 4 screws, and possible 6 screws, depending on where you install the crossbars, will penetrate the front panels where the routed MDF is thinner. We had 4 screws penetrate and make visible holes in the front panels that face the room. These screws are numbers 9 and 12, of 20, counting from either side of the crossbar for the model of bed that I bought.
I would suggest to the manufacturer that they not provide screw holes in the three crossbar supports in current positions 9 and 12, reducing the number of screw holes to 18 in the crossbars, to make penetrating the front panels impossible. We used the screws that were provided with the kit to secure the crossbars. I have no idea how to fix this damage because, from my understanding, the process of applying paint to MDF involves applying heat to improve adherence of the paint to the MDF. Suggestions from the manufacturer would be appreciated.
I have included pictures of the crossbars and the damage. One of the pictures shows the positions of the screws that were removed after they caused the damage to show their relative position from the seam between the two panels.
Living in a small house has its issues when it comes to space and how to use each room.
We needed a playroom for the grandkids but also a bedroom for quest.
The horizontal bed is the perfect fit for the space we have.
Upon delivery we unpacked all the pieces and three days later we had it put together. My husband is disabled and it took us roughly 8 hours over the three days to have it completed.
Very impressed with the quality of work that went into the bed. And if you take your time and follow the directions, you will be pleased with the finished product.

Communication during shipping/delivery was provided, and they were very responsive when we had questions. Large box on pallet was delivered with care (3rd party company), and the bed was packaged very well (no damage to any pieces).
Assembly instructions are VERY thorough, and very accurate. I would highly recommend reading through the assembly instructions book first. There are also installation videos that I found helpful at certain steps. Overall, I would say it’s a challenging assembly, but doable if you read and follow the directions.
The quality is also great! All the pieces come together nicely, and are very sturdy once assembled. The bed doesn’t creak or make any noise, and feels very solid and well made.

Works well in our "flex room!" Overall quality of the bed is good (although it is MDF, it still seems well made). We needed a flex space and a bed with a real mattress, so we went down the Murphy bed route. This is great as it has a couch so we added a projector in the room. We didn't want an old-school pull-out couch, so this was a great alternative. The quality of the bed frame and couch is great as well; seems like it should withstand the test of time. It was delivered on time. It definitely took pretty much a whole day to put together. And you'll need two people to gather the pieces and install certain sections; the entire pallet weighed about 600 pounds. It does take some patience to read through the instructions, but overall worth it!
I bought the InLine murphy bed that converts to the sofa in March 2021. The construction is great; it still looks like new. (I ended up buying an Avocado mattress for it. ) I got the textured white board and iron mountain sofa color. The unit has the drawer set on one side and a hutch with a door on the other. All functioning great.
The company that was dispatched to install it did a great job and was very professional.

Love supporting a company in my home state. The quality is very good. The assembly could be easier but was not too difficult. There were a few steps I think could have been clarified better (which I've emailed them about). I ordered the white and painted it to match my trim (green). Thought this was an easier option than paying for an upgraded color. The paint I used did get scratched during assembly so I will have to do some touch ups.
Bed cabinet and “wood” frame is made of fiber board not any real wood. Metal springs and folding mechanisms/hardware are made in China and the mattress is made in Laos or somewhere in Asia. We were under the impression at least some components were US made (Utah) for the price paid, but this is not the case. It will work fine for a rarely used guest bedroom but would question full time use durability. Looks nice in the back of the room.
Delivery was on time. Good customer service response. Color like the samples. Installation was time consuming, definitely better with two people on board. Instructions are clear though. We haven't used it yet, just got it installed and looks good so far !
Purchased a queen size wall bed with Left and Right side hutches and drawers. Took just over 3 weeks to get. The shipper kept us informed of delivery date and set up a time 24 hours before delivery. It takes a while to put together but the instructions and video links makes it easy. The quality is good for the price and everything fit well. Plenty of hardware with extra pieces. I plan to put up crown molding along the top. I would recommend it to anyone. Perfect solution for one of our guest rooms that will double as a craft room.
We are BEYOND pleased with the product--bed and cabinets--that we received and put together. Disclaimer: we did put them together ourselves (we enjoy that sort of thing) and it went pretty well. Can't wait to have guests come and enjoy the comfortable mattress and classic white cabinetry. I love how much floor space the murphy bed opens up in our guest room.
I was skeptical that the material these beds are made from was not great, but I appreciated the breakdown on the website and am even more impressed by the finished product. The instructions are INCREDIBLY detailed, like almost to a fault. Everything has been thought through and it's clear this company cares about not leaving their customers hanging.
We recently opened an Airbnb in Nashville, and this BredaBed fit the bill perfectly for a comfortable second bed to increase our occupancy. It was tricky to install, but it was so worth it -- the quality exceeded our expectations and it is just as comfortable and durable as our traditional bed in the bedroom. Looks great, too. We even tricked it out with low-profile strip LED lighting. Looks spectacular!
I’ve waited a couple of months since buying the full size bed with side table/closet so I could give an accurate review.
The bed is very well built and the instructions made it fairly easily to put together and install. There were only a few places that the instructions could have been more clear, but Breda customer service was extremely responsive and helpful. My main problem was putting in the footer due to how close it had to be (height-wise) to the wall plugs which made it difficult to use my impact drill to install the screws into the studs. Still it was manageable.
Bed works well - all the verticals pieces are plumb and the horizontal ones perfectly level. Still there were a few issues with centering the bed frame on the door. Breda could put a few predrilled or partially drilled holes to make alignment more simple. Also the ability to adjust the angle of the footer legs should be mentioned I. The instructions rather than requiring customer service support.
Last item: the drawer sliders should have predrilled starter holes to make it easier to install like on IKEA drawers.
Overall I am pleased with the bed and would buy it again there is not a better deal available anywhere on the internet.
It sure took a while to build (about 7-8 hours) but the quality is quite impressive and the instructions were quite clear. It did take a while to ship/arrive, but that was to be expected based on when we ordered. Would recommend!

The engineered wood might be strong but it chips very easily. Some of the directions were confusing. They should label each board with orientation (top/bottom) The bed itself is very sturdy and easy to put up and down. The lights are very nice and easy to use. Would love to have a place to store the pillows and wedge.
Thank you for your feedback, especially about labeling the top and bottom of the parts. The BredaBlock could be stored inside the hutch, and you could use the mattress strap to secure the pillows to the mattress.

This looks so good, and my first guests said it was very comfortable. I called Breda to get a recommendation for an installer. Their recommendation was great - installer came next day and had bed constructed and installed in 2 hours. I highly recommend BredaBeds.
Bed looks great, the quality for the money spent is awesome, the directions were well organized and obviously written by an English-speaking person with engineer or other professional experience. The bed went together perfectly and is very easy to pull up and down as advertised. Very happy with this purchase and you will be too.
I got an queen size and it sleeps very well. The mattress is only 5" thick but works well with the Murphy bed. The Gel-max seems not collect heat like other Memory foam mattresses that I slept on. The quality is pretty good so far and Overall I am happy with the purchase.
Bought the Urban model and it was packaged and shipped well. Quality seems to be pretty good but only time will tell. Assembly went well and directions were pretty clear. I bought the mattress that was sold with it and ended up having to remove a spring to have it sit correctly. I would have hoped that the spring number recommended would have been correctly matched to the mattress supplied so I would not have to go back and pull a set out. The metal mattress frame is "C" channel with the edges pointing in toward the mattress. This may work well for holding the mattress in place as the bed flips up but it can be a pain in the butt when you go to make the bed. Having a flat edge pointing in would made making the bed easier. I have slept on the bed myself and it comfortable. Overall, I am very happy with the product.
My husband and I took about 4 days to put this together. It is well made and as long as you pay attention to the instructions and watch the occasional video if you don't understand the instructions, it is quite doable. To me the biggest pain was the springs and we used all of the springs which proved to be too much tension and the bed wouldn't stay in the down position. Taking springs off is near to impossible so we added weight to the foot portion inside the frame. I am hoping the springs may relax eventually but for now this works. My 92 y. o. mother says that the bed is incredibly comfortable, and she is sleeping very well there on her visit. The quality of the bed and the mattress are great! I highly recommend it!
Turned a bedroom into a home office and the wall bed is the perfect way to have guests stay over without having to use a blow up mattress. Matches other furniture pieces and the installer was very professional, I love it!
I love my king size Murphy bed! I couldn’t find many king size Murphy beds on the market and this one had the right specs for my space! I’m very pleased with its functionality and the look of it!
Absolutely worth the time and money! It took us a lot longer than the instructions said, because my husband and I are not experienced installers, but it's so satisfying coming into my office, having the much needed extra space with this beautiful furniture being showcased, yet also have the ability to turn it into a guest room. Having the in-line version with the couch also makes this room much more versatile. Our queen size Sleep Number P6 mattress fits with no problem. So glad I found Breda Beds!
Parts were different vs instructions. Customer support was great, helped get us the correct instructions. But this really caused a delay and a lot of frustration. The bed was not easy to assemble overall. The website also says that the beds are made of wood, which is why I chose Breda. It isn't a lie, but it's engineered / plywood, which I really was not expecting.
