Love it!
The delivery and installation were smooth and professional. Our queen Penthouse Murphy BredaBed with a hutch for hanging and a drawer storage space is perfect! I highly recommend BredaBed for the professional and timely service, construction quality, beautiful appearance, bed comfort, and great price!
The perfect solution to making a multipurpose room
The finishes are nice and contemporary. And the materials are sturdy enough to hold up to my family.
Thanks to BredaBeds for offering a solution to our recreational space.
I recently purchased a king sized Urban Murphy bed with a side hutch for my studio apartment and it has absolutely changed the space for the better! I have so much more room and am able to have friends over without my bed being in the middle of the room. The product is beautiful and well crafted and am so happy with it!
We had the bed installed in an office space so that we can have guests stay. It looks like a nice cabinet when closed, and opens so easily. I was surprised at how easy and light the bed is when lowering it. We got the queen size bed and included the mattress. It is very comfortable. We also splurged and paid for the installer to come. It was so worth it. He was quick, very neat and friendly. We are very pleased with all aspects of our new bed.
We ordered the Studio Collection queen with 2 side hutches for our office/guest room and loved it so much we then decided to replace an oversized pull out couch in the full time guest room with the same style. It saves us so much room vs the pull-out couch and we have extra storage space with the hutches for pillows/bedding and guest clothes! Our guests have said the space is comfortable and inviting.
After doing a lot of research, I decided to buy two horizontal Breda Beds for a room with a tight fit. I am so happy with how they turned out! I loved buying from a US company with clear instructions and great customer service, and the quality is amazing.

Solid quality with thorough instructions and videos
Completed our Murphy bed install. Looks great and obviously high quality.
I'm experienced at complicated home projects and repairs, so I will say that this install is not for the faint of heart. There are many steps involved and it certainly requires two people in many steps. So if you are not confident in your skills, or don't have another healthy back to support you, invest in an installer.
bed is great! the delivery was difficult in that it is delivered in large wooden crate and impossible to get into my apartment myself and blocking walkway to other apartments when delivered. Would recommend full delivery into home as very bulky and heavy. Otherwise, service and whole process was wonderful!
We appreciate your time and effort to bring the parts inside, Gaynell. The cabinet is fully disassembled and can be a lot for one person to pack. Thank you for sharing your experience with others. We're glad to hear that all is going great with the bed!

Fantastic Company to work with,
Fantastic Company to work with, very helpful and informative. Instructions and video's make assembly easy. King size doable with just two people. Quality materials, and all pieces and parts there. Very happy with the unit.

Assembly issues.
Assembly instructions did not match parts list - frame design was different from instruction manual (there were no metal tabs on the frame and no instructions for two pieces of angled iron included) so doors did not line up correctly. Also assembly was ridiculously time consuming. Took 4 hours to assemble not including the door misalignment. I found the assembly process disappointing. Once correctly assembled the unit looks and functions as hoped.

Response from BredaBeds
Hi Robert, we're sorry to hear the instructions were for a different frame than what you received. We're also sorry for the additional time during assembly, but it sounds like you accomplished the installation quickly compared to our estimated assembly time. We're glad you're enjoying the result and hope your bed brings you joy for many years.

Urban Murphy Bed
Appears to be a very high quality bed. Easily fits our 10 inch mattress with 2 inch foam topper. Directions were very detailed but we still got confused in a few places. Breda Beds service promptly answered our questions even on the weekend. You do need several tools for assembly, which we had or could borrow. Highly recommend.
Thank you for sharing a picture of your bed, Jean! We appreciate the positive, detailed feedback and are glad we could assist you on Saturday while you were assembling. We hope you enjoy your bed for many years!

Comfort
I bought the bed to reduce pain in my lower back and hips. I previously owned a memory foam and it killed my hips and back. The classic Saatva I ordered is ok but I still have some pain. The description stated it helps pain in those areas. Maybe give it more time I guess.
I looked for a murphy bed for over a year and couldn't find any of quality, at a decent price. All of the foreign made beds were cheaply made and all the made in America products were way overpriced. I got lucky and found Breda beds during their sale event and got a very nice, American made, quality bed for the same price as one of the cheap foreign ones. I screwed up during assembly and damaged part of the cabinet and their customer service was very understanding and replaced the part for free, shipping included. I can't say enough good things about this company! It's so hard to find good customer service anymore, but these guys came through like champions with no hassle or bs! Thanks for being a great American company!
Thank you, Dwayne! It was a pleasure working with you, and we love the final result of your Metropolitan bed. Please let us know if you ever need assistance in the future - as you know, we're always here!

Extremely easy to put together (other than stretching those springs!)
Having previously built a murphy bed with one of those Rockler plans/kits where you have to cut every single piece of wood yourself, and you make EVERY part of it out of wood besides the spring mechanism, building this bed was a BREEZE. It came out beautifully, and the instructions were well written (I'd give them a 9/10. Some things could be clearer but it's easy to figure out)
Our experience with Breda Bed has been positive. I think Breda beds are the best value Murphy beds available. They had more customization options than most other brands and the prices were very competitive. Assembly took some time, we spent parts of three weekends working on it. The instructions are good, however for some steps I thought more detail/diagrams would have been helpful. At any rate we were able to finish assembly and it looks great and works well.
Thank you for your time researching and ultimately choosing BredaBeds for an assembly DIY project! We're thrilled to hear everything turned out great and hope your bed brings you joy for many years.

Wonderful, highly recommend
Great price, quick turnaround, and the installers were very competent!
There's nothing better than having storage for bedding with the bed! This configuration looks great with your tall ceilings. Thank you for choosing BredaBeds, Jackie. :)

Great product
Always a great fit. This is our second home and both looked great. Took a while for delivery and installation from the recommended vendor/installer.

Bed and Memory Foam mattress work great!
Received bed in good condition, assembly was pretty easy with directions simple to follow. This was my first time assembling a Murphy bed and it went together very well. There was plenty of help online via the links emailed prior to receiving so watched several of those before starting. Thanks.

Thank you, Loren! Great job on the installation. :)

Beautiful and Functional
I had analysis paralysis when it came to trying to find a murphy-style bed for my office. It's a smallish space that was used as a guest room previously. I looked at $500-600 options from online retailers, and $5,000-6000 "custom made" options from other manufacturers. Breda sits right in the middle price-wise with little compromise. Tons of options and reasonably priced. Dealing with Breda was easy, and the installer they sent was top notch. I've seen reviews that complain about quality, but what I got is exactly what I expected at this price point. It's sturdy, soft-close drawers, solid hardware, and the LED lights are a nice touch.
The Linear Ash looks very impressive in your office! Thank you for your honest feedback about pricing. We believe everyone deserves a quality Murphy bed at a reasonable price. Thank you again, James!
How BredaBeds Collects Reviews
After every delivery, Yotpo — an independent review platform — automatically invites the customer
to rate their experience. That is the only way a review lands on this page: we can’t write them or
edit them, and the rating totals above come straight from Yotpo’s live feed.
We read every single one. When something goes wrong — a freight-damaged panel, a missing hardware
bag — our Meridian, Idaho team makes it right under our
damaged delivery policy,
and often replies publicly right here. It’s also why so many reviews mention our step-by-step instructions and
assembly videos.
