Baseboards, also known as "skirting" or "base molding" is wooden trim at the bottom of walls that covers the gap between wall and floor. Since our beds must attach flat against walls, we provide a 4" high x 3/4" deep baseboard notch which will accommodate most baseboard situations at no extra cost. If the standard notch (4" high x 3/4" deep) will accommodate your baseboards, select the first option in the drop-down list and there will be no extra charge. Only select "No Notch" if you have no baseboard or plan to remove your baseboard.

Love, love, love these murphy bunks! BredaBeds helped us with all our questions along the way, and we got the bunks installed with the help of a contractor friend. It took about 7 hours with 2 people (additional person to help lift the top bunk in place), but it was all worth it! All the parts were labeled to help with assembly, and the bed is solid quality. The whole system looks fantastic!
