Baseboards, also known as "skirting" or "base molding" is wooden trim at the bottom of walls that covers the gap between wall and floor. Since our beds must attach flat against walls, we provide a 4" high x 3/4" deep baseboard notch which will accommodate most baseboard situations at no extra cost. If the standard notch (4" high x 3/4" deep) will accommodate your baseboards, select the first option in the drop-down list and there will be no extra charge. Only select "No Notch" if you have no baseboard or plan to remove your baseboard.

It's beautiful and although it took a while to put together as we were being extremely careful it was NOT hard to do, but it is heavy so you need 2 strong men at least once or twice during construction! Much to my surprise the sofa was soooo comfortable! and the color amazing!
